We went to Venice for a short break last month and enjoyed a beautiful city in superb weather. It was also relatively quiet at this time of year. We visited Murano and Burano which were relatively quiet. Restaurants and coffee bars were also fairly quiet and the vaporettos were never crowded.
I had gone to Venice with notions of taking photographs at the water front, similar to lots of other photographs of Venice that I had seen. But when we got there I was attracted to the stunning buildings and their glorious colours and designs
I’m enjoying creating mini projects where a similar theme and style of processing runs through a limited group of photographs. Each of these images was processed in monochrome, then some of the original colours were added back in.
