We returned last month from a 3 week holiday in India, starting in Delhi, taking in Agra, Ranthambore, Jaipur, Udaipur, Bangalore, Nagarhole and Kerela. Quite the tour.
The trip included a huge variety of experiences; national parks, bustling city centres, a busy elephant sanctuary, a coffee plantation, beaches and quiet villages that time seemed to have forgotten. This blog post shows a few of the photographs taken on the trip.
Below are two shots taken in Jaipur; a wedding party at the tailor shop and a shop owner having a quiet time out.

I met an Udaipur-based professional photographer, Rajesh Soni, whose pictures have been published throughout the world. While walking through Udaipur I stumbled upon his studio and popped in for a chat. I photographed him with his latest investment, an old motorcycle which he uses as a prop when he takes portrait photographs. His portraits are all in black and white.

Below are some people in a village near our hotel in Udaipur.

The gentleman below appears to be levitating.

The chap below is an itinerant brick maker. He is proudly sitting atop his output.
This picture was accepted by the Cheltenham salon of Photography, my first travel shot to be accepted!
